There are three main categories of UK work permit we advise on. These are:
Tier 2 General Skilled Visa Category
The Tier 2 General visa is for medium and highly skilled workers immigrating to the UK.
To obtain an application under the Tier 2 General category you must have an offer of employment which is confirmed from a licensed UK employer or sponsor and a certificate of sponsorship which should be valid.
Once you are given permission to stay in the UK as a Tier 2 General skilled worker, you can live and work in the UK for upto three years, or the time given by the sponsorship, whichever time is shorter. If you want to stay after your period, you need to apply for an extension for more than 2 years.
